Procedures to upgrade Lucent modem firmware in the MTPSR3-200 proxy server -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - This will upgrade the Lucent modem firmware in the proxy server to version 4.18O - You MUST have COM1 or COM2 available in order for this upgrade procedures to work - This upgrade requires DOS mode. It had been tested in Windows 95/98 DOS box and standard DOS machines To perform the upgrade, do the following steps: - remove all the phone lines from the proxy server. - connect proxy serial cable to the command port of the proxy server and the PC COM port. - power on the proxy server and make sure the fail LED is off. - open a DOS box if you are running Windows 95/98 - create a temperory directory C:\TEMP - unzip PSR3-MDM.ZIP into C:\TEMP directory - run the UPGRADE.BAT file to perform the modem firmware upgrade - DO NOT interrupt during the upgrade process - DO NOT power off the proxy server during the upgrade process - the upgrade process will take approximately 15 to 20 minutesDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
