;PROTOCOL.INI entry for the WaveLAN Communications Adapter (DOS driver). ; ;Type = NDIS ;Title = "WaveLAN NDIS 2 Driver" ; ;Tag = PCMCIA_Socket ;Display = "PCMCIA Adapter Socket" ;Set = A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, X ;Default = X ;This parameter identifies the Socket in which the WaveLAN/PCMCIA adapter is inserted ;You can use the default value of X if there is only one WaveLAN/PCMCIA ;adapter installed in your system. Otherwise, you can select a card by ;specifying it's socket. ;This parameter is for use with the Enabler only. An error will be generated ;if it is used together with AT_Address, MCA_Slot or Config_Address ; ;Tag = AT_Address ;Display = "Adapter I/O Base Address" ;Type = HexNum ;Set = 0x300, 0x390, 0x3E0, 0x3C0 ;Default = 0x300 ;This parameter identifies the I/O Base Address used by the WaveLAN PC-AT ;adapter. The value selected must match the I/O Base Address that is set by ;the hardware switches on the WaveLAN PC-AT adapter. ;This parameter is for use on ISA machines only. An error will be generated if it ;is used together with PCMCIA_Socket, MCA_Slot or Config_Address ; ;Tag = MCA_Slot ;Display = "Adapter Slot Number" ;Set = 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ;Default = 0 ;This parameter identifies the MicroChannel Slot Number in which the WaveLAN PC-MC ;adapter installed in. You can use the default value of zero if there is ;only one WaveLAN PC-MC adapter installed in your system. Otherwise, you must ;choose the appropriate slot number from the list. ;This parameter is for use on MCA machines only. An error will be generated if it ;is used together with PCMCIA_Socket, AT_Address or Config_Address ; ;Tag = Config_Address ;Set = 0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00 - 0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF ;Default = None ;This parameter identifies the Configuration Address for CS/SS, i.e. MAC address of ;the WaveLAN/PCMCIA adapter for which this station is configured. ;This parameter is for use with Socket and Card Services (CS/SS) only and is automaticaly ;inserted by the WaveLAN CS&SS Install program. An error will be generated if it is used ;together with PCMCIA_Socket, AT_Address or MCA_Slot ; ;Tag = Station_Address ;Set = 0x02,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00 - 0xFE,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF ;Default = None ;This parameter identifies the Local MAC Address for ; which this station is ;configured. The ;second digit of the first byte should be 2, 6, A or E. ; ;Tag = NWID ;Display = "WaveLAN Network ID" ;Type = HexNum ;Set = 0x0100 - 0xFFFF ;Default = None ;This parameter sets the Network ID. It will overrule, but not change, the ;value stored on the card. ; ;Tag = Encryption_Key ;Display = "Encryption Key" ;Set = 0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00 - ; 0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF,0xFF ;Default = 0 ;This parameter enables encryption and sets the WaveLAN encryption key if non-zero. ;In case zero is specified encryption will be disabled. ; ;Tag = Domain_ID ;Display = "Domain ID" ;Set = 0x0000 - 0xFFFF ;Default = 0x0001 ;This parameter enables roaming, and specifies the Domain ID of the roaming ;coverage area. It must match the Domain ID of your access points. Absence ;(or a zero value) of the parameter disables roaming. ;This parameter is ignored for PC-AT and PC-MC adapters. ; ;Tag = Beacon_Key ;Display = "Beacon Key" ;Set = 0x0000 - 0xFFFF ;Default = 0 ;This parameter specifies the Beacon Key your access points use to encode the ;WaveLAN Network ID (NWID) carried in the Beacon messages. It must match the ;Beacon Key used by access points. ;This parameter is ignored for PC-AT and PC-MC adapters. ; ;Tag = Station_Name ;Display = "Station Name" ;Set = Ascii ;Default = 0 ;This parameter specifies the station's name, which can be displayed by the ;Point-to-point diagnostics tool. ; DriverName = WVLN09$ Domain_ID = 0x0001 Beacon_Key = 0 Encryption_Key = 0Download Driver Pack
