otr Token-ring driver for UnixWare 7.

Supported adapters:

	OC-3136		Olicom Token-Ring PCI 16/4 Adapter
	OC-3137		Olicom Token_RIng PCI/II 16/4 Adapter
	RF-3140		Olicom RapidFire 3140 Token-Ring 16/4 PCI Adapter
	RF-3141		Olicom RapidFire 3141 Token-Ring 16/4 PCI Fiber Adapter
	RF-3540		Olicom RapidFire 3540 HSTR 100 PCI Adapter

Configurable options:

Line Speed:
	AUTO-detect	the adapter will detect the speed of the ring.
	4Mbps
	16Mbps
	100Mbps		for RF-3540 only.

Duplex mode:
	AUTO-detect	the adapter will detect the duplex mode from the
				attachment.
	Full-duplex	The adapter will join in full duplex (TXI).
	Half-duplex	The adapter will join in half duplex (TKP):

Macaddress:		A blank line denotes the factory address.
				Any configured address must be a valid local administered
				address, i.e. it must start with 4000.

Frame size:
	14..18000	If attached to 4Mbps ring, the framesize is reduced,
				if necessary, to 4500.
				Do not configure this higher that any switch in the network.

The driver does not support promiscuous mode.


Installation from the otr301.pkg file:

		pkgadd -d otr301.pkg

and answer yes when prompted to install the package.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
