   Data Key Utility Installation Procedures

  The Data Key utility provide the " bootable " and " password protection " function. 
Please install the program as below procedures.

1. Plug-in Data Key.
2. Insert the CD driver.
3. To double click "mformat.exe" as the path shown in the photo on the backside of 
    artwork box.
4. Select "enable password feature" and "Make bootable disk", and choose the type of
    format you prefer, as the screen shown. Then click "start".
5. There'll be an icon shown after you click "start". Please make sure you have known the 
    data in your disk will be deleted if you choose "ok".
6. Click "ok" to complete media format function. If you select "Enable password feature", 
    the default password is "1111".

Note: If you use bootable function, you must check your Mainboard's BIOS support 
          bootable function.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
