*** Simple Installation Procedure ***

   Microsoft Windows* 2000
   -----------------------
   1.  Logon as the administrator.
   2.  Click Start|Settings|Control Panel.
   3.  Double-click the System Icon.
   4.  Select the Hardware Tab on the System Properties 
       dialog box.
   5.  Select the Device Manager Button.
   6.  Double-click the Intel(r) 82802 Firmware Hub option in 
       the Other Devices or System Devices section.
   7.  Select the Driver Tab.
   8.  Select the Update Driver Button.
   9.  When Update Device Driver Wizard appears select the 
       Next Button.
   10. Select the "Display a list of the known ..." option
       then click Next.
   11. Select the Have Disk Button.
   12. Select the Location of the ISD_WDM.INF File and Driver
       then click Next.
   13. After a few seconds Windows* should find the Driver.  
       When it does, click Next to finish loading the driver.
   14. After the file copy is complete you should see a 
       message reporting that Windows* is finished installing 
       an updated driver.
   15. Click Finish.

       The Intel Security Driver is now ready for use!
   		
Run the Self Test application, described in the README.TXT
document.

*** Files Installed by the Simple Installation Procedure ***

The simple installation procedure installs the files listed 
below, where, in the following: 
 <drive> is the drive specified during installation 
    (C, by default)
 <path>  is the path specified during installation 
    (\Program Files\Intel\Intel Security Driver, by default)

              \Inf_isd\WDM
                            ISD_WDM.INF
                            ISECDRV.SYS
                            ISD.CAT

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
