For more information on installing drivers for Windows NT 4.0 and NetWare,
see the following files:

Microsoft Windows           MS.TXT
Novell NetWare              NETWARE.TXT

Use any standard text editor or word processor to read, search, or print 
the files. These files are also viewable with the DOS Text Viewer in 
Setup. To use the viewer, type: SETUP /README at the DOS prompt.

Server Adapter Teaming Features
===============================

The PRO/100+ Server adapters support advanced teaming features:

   Adapter Fault Tolerance (AFT)
   Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB)
   Fast EtherChannel* (FEC)

For more information on these teaming features and how to set up
teaming on specific adapters, see the file TEAMING.TXT in the 
\INFO\GENERAL directory.

Management Adapters
===================

For more information on the PRO/100+ Management adapters, see the 
file MANAGE.TXT in the \INFO\GENERAL directory.

Push Installations
==================

If you are a network administrator interested in unattended installation
of the PRO/100+ adapter drivers (push installation), see the following 
readme files:

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
