Insert this PCI adapter firmly onto a PCI slot, and then start up Windows. 2. Windows 95/98 will auto-detect the presence of this adapter and pop up a New Hardware Wizard box. 3. Insert the enclosed driver diskette into your floppy drive and click on Next. 4. Select ¡§Specify a location¡¨ and direct the system to a path as ¡§A:\Win98¡¨, where the driver is located as in Table 1. 5. After Windows copy the driver files onto your computer, system will prompt for a restart, remove driver diskette from the floppy drive and click Yes. For Windows NT: 1. Insert this PCI adapter firmly onto a PCI slot, then start up your Windows. 2. Click Start menu a Setting a Control Panel a Double click Network icon. 3. Insert enclosed driver diskette into your floppy drive. 4. Click Adapters Tab, click Add, and then click Have Disk.... 5. Direct the system to a path as ¡§A: \Winnt¡¨, where the driver is located as in Table 1. 6. After Windows copy the driver files onto your computer, then system will prompt for a restart, remove the driver diskette from the floppy drive and click Yes. For Windows Me: 1. Select ¡§Specify a location¡¨ and then click Next and direct the system to the path ¡§A: \Win2000¡¨ 6. After Windows copy the driver files onto your computer, then system will prompt for a restart, remove the driver diskette from the floppy drive and click Yes. For Windows XP: 1. Insert this PCI adapter firmly onto a PCI slot, and then start up Windows. 2. Windows XP will auto-detect the presence of this adapter, and automatically loads up its embedded driver. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
