BizCard Finder 2.0 --BCR scanner Installation-- 1 After installing the BCR2.0, then install the scanner drivers. 2 Insert Install CD into CD-ROM driver, and connect scanner with computer through USB port. 3 The PC system will autodetect the new hardware, according to the tips of system "New hardware install Wizard", place the load of installation drivers program to the ScanDriver list that under the list of installation Folder of your PC or the ScanDriver list which under the list of installation CD, system will autosearch the right driver program to finish the installation of scanner. 4 If the scanner as the uncharted reason to install failed and cannot work naturally, please according to the following method to install scanner driver again: ¡ñRight-click "My computer" on the desktop, select "property"of the bombed menu, select the "hardware" option in the system property, then choose "Device manager", and will currently appear that the hardware device list which your computer had installed. ¡ñSelect "USB Device" that in the "Unknow Device"menu, the device which has marked with the yellow exclamatory point, and right-click it, select "property" in the bombed menu, the device box will come out. ¡ñSelect "Reinstall Driver" (or "Update Driver") in the property box,and the "Upgrade Device Driver Wizard" will come out, according to the tips and placing the driver installation load to the third point that described above, so can finish the installation of scanner again. ***Note: You need install the scanner after you have installed the BizCard Finder 2.0 successfully Make sure scanner has connected with computer and installed the scanner driver program before the first open BizCard Finder 2.0 If the calibration tips come out straight when user is calibrating,please close BizCard Finder 2.0,pull out scanner,then connect again,and open BizCard Finder 2.0 --Scanner Calibration-- * Click on the "Calibrate" button in the scan window * Insert the calibration card into the scanner * Push the card in --System Requirements-- BizCard Finder 2.0 has the following system requirements: * Windows 98/ME/2000/XP * Pentium 166MHz or higher * 32MB of RAM * 32MB free hard disk space for a full installation * Mouse Required * CR-ROM --Features of BizCard Finder 2.0-- * Scan and process English business cards * Organize your contact information to meet different needs; for example, categorize your contacts according to their roles * Find any contact easily, with the help of the Integrated Bilingual Optical Recognition (OCR) engine * Make changes to the business card information easily * Include an image of the back of the card for contacts whose cards have information on both sides * Drag and drop information between different fields in each business card * Save business card information in different database formats * Save business card images as JPEG files * Print business card as address books or business card images * Export the entire selected database into MS applications in Outlook/DBF/TXT format * Import address books from Outlook Express/Outlook/DBF/CSV * Email your contacts from BizCard Finder 2.0 with vCard and name card image attached (optional) * Synchronization of contact database with Palm, WinCE devices, and other PDAs * Synchronization of contact database and name card images with WinCE BizCard FinderDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
