SB4100 USB Drivers and Uninstall Utility readme
released 11/9/00

Driver Installation:

1. Copy the files to a freshly formatted floppy disk or some
    directory on your hard drive eg. C:\SB4100 USB

2. When installation of 4100 prompts to specify a location
    enter in the location where you copied the files in this archive.

3.  Follow the prompts to complete the USB driver installation.


Removing SB4100 drivers:

1.  Insert floppy containing the "remove.exe" file or locate it on
     the hard drive.

2.  Double-click on the "remove.exe" file to run.  Make sure to
     disconnect the 4100 USB cable from the computer prior to
     running the utility.

3.   When the utility is done you should reboot your computer
      prior to re-installating the SB4100.

4.  Follow the "Driver Installation" instructions to re-install the SB4100
     USB drivers.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

• Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

• If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

• Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

• Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

• Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

• From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

• Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
