This new version of driver adds the function of changing drive icon.
The default status of these change function is disabled.
You must follow specific steps to enable these function:
1. Firstly, you need the Microsoft Visual C++ and the windows 2000.
2. Using the VC to open the "usbmonit.exe" in Resources method
(Set the Open as to be "Resources").
3. In the Icon directory, you will find two icons. One is the
icon of usbmonit.exe and the other one (with higher resource ID)
is for drive icon. Edit the new image of icon you want.
4. After edit the image of icon. You must open the String Table. You
will find one string "CHG_ICON_N", it is the switch of change icon
function. "CHG_ICON_Y" means enable and "CHG_ICON_N" means disable.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
