The eFilm Reader-11 and associated software are designed to run on a Pentium 
PC with USB support, and Windows 98, 98SE, Millennium or Windows 2000. 

· What's new in this update? 
1. Adds support for Windows 2000. 

· Installing the eFilm Reader-11 Version 1.00.19 for Windows 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a previous version of the driver has been installed on 
your system, you MUST uninstall it prior to installing version 1.00.19 
(using the TIBUNINSTALL.exe located in the "uninstall" folder). 

1. Download the READER11.exe file and save it to your hard drive. 

2. Double click on the READER11 icon to expand/unzip the downloaded file. 

3. Select a destination and click Finish (the default destination will be 
the Temp folder). A Reader-11 folder containing the driver files will be 
created in the destination directory.

4. Plug the eFilm Reader-11 into an available USB port on your computer. 

5. The Add New Hardware Wizard will detect that new hardware has been 
connected. 

6. Choose "Search for best driver" and use the Browse button to point the 
Wizard to the location of the Reader-11 folder. 

7. After the installation is complete, you can insert CompactFlash Type I 
or II and/or SmartMedia cards and access them through My Computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
