Run Setup.exe. 2. After copying necessary files, a message box will display prompting "Please plug in your WLAN adapter now". 3. Plug in the USB adapter. 4. Windows XP will find the new hardware automatically. 5. Select "Install the software automatically (Recommended)", then click "Next" button. 6. The system reports that no digital signature was found. Click 'Continue Anyway' to continue installation. 7. Windows XP will find the best driver and copy required files. 8. Finally, Setup Program will prompt with "802.11b Wireless USB Adapter". 9. Click "Finsh" button to complete the installation. (B) Installing the driver on Microsoft Windows 2000 ================================================================ Notice: Don't Plug in the adapter until prompt. 1. Run Setup.exe. 2. After copying necessary files, a message box will display prompting "Please plug in your WLAN adapter now". 3. Plug in the USB adapter. 4. Windows 2000 will find the new hardware automatically. 5. The system reports that no digital signature was found. Click 'Yes' to continue installation. 6. Windows 2000 will find the best driver and copy required files. 7. Finally, Setup Program will prompt with "802.11b Wireless USB Adapter". 8. Click "Finsh" button to complete the installation. (C) Installing the driver on Microsoft Windows 98 ================================================================ Notice: Don't Plug in the adapter until prompt. 1. Run Setup.exe. 2. (Optional): if your Windows 98 doesn't have Windows Installer Component, the Setup Program will prompt you to restart computer after install it. After reboot, Setup Program will launch to continue installation automatically. You don't have to run setup.exe again. 3. After copying necsssary files, a message box will display prompting "Please plug in your WLAN adapter now". 4. Plug in the USB adapter. 5. Windows 98 will find the new hardware automatically. 6. Windows 98 will find the best driver and copy required files. 7. Finally, Setup Program will prompt with "802.11b Wireless USB Adapter". 8. Click "Finsh" button to reboot to complete the installation. (D) Installing the driver on Microsoft Windows Me ================================================================ Advise: Don't Plug the adapter until prompt. 1. Run Setup.exe. 2. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
