Installation of
YAMAHA OPL3-SAx Audio Driver
for Windows 95
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
When you install Windows 95, OPL3-SAx Sound System is detected as the
Other Devices because Windows 95 does not have the information of OPL-SAx.
You need to install the OPL3-SAx driver to enable sound device in the
following steps.
(1) In the Control Panel choose the System icon and choose the Device
Manager tab.
(2) Double-click the Other Devices and OPL3-SAx Sound System.
(3) Choose the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button.
(4) Insert this diskette in the floppy disk drive.
(5) Choose Yes and click the Next button.
(6) When the sound device is found, click the Finish button.
(7) In the Insert Disk window, click OK button.
(8) In the Copy Files window, indicate A:\ as the source path name and
click OK button.
NOTE:
If you would like to install this driver updated on the pre-installed
system software which has previous version of the driver, you should
delete the following files before installing the driver.

WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\opl3sa.hlp
WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\opl3sacx.dll
WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\vopl3sa.vxd
WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\vymixd.vxd
WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS\vsgm.vxd
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
