Driver Installation Guide for Windows 95

Introduction
============
This document describes the procedure to install NDIS3 driver on MS
Windows 95 for AEF-360TX Family PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.
Location of Driver: \WIN95\RTL8139.SYS
Installation procedure
======================
A. Installing NDIS3 miniport driver to the Windows 95:
---------------------------------------------------
1. Plug AEF-360TX Family PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter into one of the
Master PCI slots of your platform.
2. Turn the power of your PC on to boot from Windows 95. Windows 95
may auto-detect your new adapter installed, and the "New Hardware
Found" dialogue box will appear. Select "Driver from disk provided
by H/W manufacturer" to install driver from the diskette that come
with your LAN adapter.
Note: If your new adapter is not detected by Windows 95, you can
open "My Computer"->"Control Panel"->"Networks" after Windows 95
comes up, and select "Add adapter"->"Have disk" to install driver
from the diskette that come with your lan adapter.
3. Insert the driver diskette into your floppy drive, and specify the
path of the driver in the diskette ( i.e. A:\WIN95 ) to copy the
driver files to your system.
4. When the driver installation is completed, restart Windows 95.
B. Configuration NDIS3 miniport driver:
------------------------------------
1. Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
2. Click the "Control Panel" icon from My Computer window.
3. Click the "Network" icon from the Control Panel window.
4. Select "Adapter" item from Network Component Type dialog box,
then click "Properties..." button.
5. Click "Advanced" button from Properties for
AEF-360TX Family PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter dialog box.
6. Follow screen instructions to complete the process.
7. Restart your computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
