README95.TXT - SPiDER 256 Windows 95 Drivers Note.

0.Installation.
  - Installation program works only in VGA mode.
         If users are using old driver utility, should use old OPTiWin
         Set Resolution utility to switch mode back to 640x480x4.
  - From Start button, choose RUN, and then type A:\SETUP95
  - Driver and utility will be automatically installed to WINDOWS,
         and the current resolution setting will be 640x480x256.
  - Files for Windows 95:
         + README95.TXT      : this file, will be posted on screen when
                               user run SETUP95.
         + SETUP95.EXE       : setup file.
         + WIN95.EXE         : Self-Extract driver file for WINDOWS 95.
         + FILES95.TXT       : Windows 95's list file.

2.Resolutions, colors, and refresh rates supported for two types of
  display memory:
  With 1MB

3.Settings.
  Refresh rate.
  To set to higher refresh rate, OPTI264.INF file can be edited
  to correct refresh rate. For instance, user want to set to 72Hz

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
