To updated your CD-R firmware to version 2.00
    
    To update the CD-R firmware: 
  
    1.  Startup your computer system in DOS environment
	(i.e. Win95 user, please press F8, select Command Prompt only when 
	"starting Windows 95" messsage appear)
    2.  Insert the " EZ-SCSI installation disk" to the floppy drive
    3.  Type "A:\Install" to begin installing the SCSI driver for the CD-R
    4.  Follow the screen instructions to complete the installation
    5.	Restart the computer in DOS for the new driver to take effect.	
    6.  Ensure that the CD-R drive is detected and working properly in DOS.
    7.	From DOS prompt, Type : Downfirm mk200.bin
    8.  The drive LED light will begin to blink, wait until it stops 
	(about 1 min)
    9.  Restart the computer and the drive firmware is updated

    For Windows 95 users, After you have updated the firmware, you must 
    remove the EZ-SCSI drivers from the system Configuration files.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
