README.TXT Driver File Contents (ps66_95.exe)

I.If it is a new system, the installation procedures are as follows:

  1.  Go to Windows 95.
  2.  Click the Windows 95 Start button.
  3.  Select 'Settings'.
  4.  Select 'Control Panel'.
  5.  Double click the Display Icon.
  6.  Click the 'Settings' tab.
  7.  Click 'Advanced Properties'.
  8.  Under Adapter Type, click 'Change'. 
  9.  Click 'Have Disk'.
 10.  Type the path to where the drivers are located, and click O.K.
      (Example: A:\ if the driver files are located in the A drive)
 11.  Select Trident 9660 / 968X / 938X / 9382-1, Linear Accelerated for PCI (V5.00.28), and click O.K.
 12.  Click 'Close'.
 13.  Click 'Apply'.
 14.  Click 'Yes' to restart your Windows 95.

II.If the system already has a old Trident VGA driver, do the fillowings:

  1.  Go to Windows 95.
  2.  Click the Windows 95 Start button.
  3.  Select 'Settings'.
  4.  Select 'Control Panel'.
  5.  Double click the Display Icon.
  6.  Click the 'Settings' tab.
  7.  Click 'Advanced Properties'.
  8.  Click Change display type and select show all devices, then go to standard display types in manufactures list, and select standard display adapter (VGA) in model list.
  9.  Select apply and follow the screen instructions.
 10.  Remove the following old driver under DOS prompt:
 	C:\windows\system\
 	File names: TGIUL95.drv 
                    TDISPLUS.dll
 11.  Follow procedures in part I to install new display driver.
