INTRODUCTION
============

This is a reference for the EN2000N User Diagnostic Version 1.10
(EN2DIAG.EXE v1.10).

Important: This diagnostic program does not work if the EN2000N adapter is
	   placed at the 8-bit slot.

There are three tests to verify the functionality of the network
adapter. These tests are performed in sequence. However, if any one
test were to fail, the remaining tests will not be continued.

The On Screen Diagnostic window will show you the progress of
the three tests. The details are described as follow.

     A) [Initialization]
In this test, all NIC registers are tested and verified.

     B) [RAM Test]
This test perform Read-After-Write test on the memory module on the
network adapter. It verifies the address, the data paths and
     the memory modules separately.

     C) [IRQ Test]
This test checks the configured IRQ# of the adapter.
The test initiates the transmission of frames through the adapter
and then checks the interrupt line on the system.
Note that you should choose an interrupt line that DOES NOT
conflict with other adapters' settings, otherwise the system MAY HANG.
     REMEMBER to terminate the adapter.
