Generic WINNT 4.0 PnP Support 2. Support for Modem INF file (NT 4.0) #5. Installing Modem INF - WindowsNT 4.0 ONLY NOTE: You may need your WindowsNT 4.0 installation disc(s). 1. Enter the BIOS setting to disable the Com port you want to use. 2. Double click the Modem icon in the control panel, the ADD dialog box will appear. 3. Click Next button to start Detect Modem Install procedure. 4. After Finding a Modem in Com port , a dialog box will appear and request the path of the location of the INF files. You may search this path by clicking the BROWSE button. 5. Scroll down the list of drivers until you find the one labeled Magic F56 Data,Fax,Voice,Speakphone Modem. Selected and press Next button. 6. WindowsNt will set up the Modem for a while, Press Finish to close. #6. Un-installing Modem INF - WindowsNT 4.0 ONLY 1. Double click the Modem icon in the control panel and click on the Devices tab. Double click on the Audio Devices entry and then select Magic F56 Data,Fax,Voice,Speakphone Modem . 2. Press the REMOVE button. Verify your decision by pressing the YES button of the REMOVE dialog box. 3. The System Setting Change dialog box will appear and ask you to remove Modem . Press the Yes button.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
