Windows 95/98 Video installation for the VCD001381-xx, Creative TNT2 Pro 32MB 2x/4x.

These drivers must be installed using the "Have Disk" or inf method. Follow the steps below to install your drivers.

1.	Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel. 

2.	Double click on the "System" icon. 

3.	At System Properties select the Device Manager tab. 

4.	Click on the + next to "Display Adapters". 

5.	Double click on "Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA)". 

6.	Click on the driver tab and click on the "Update Driver" button. 

7.	At the "Update Device Driver Wizard" click NEXT. 

8.	Verify that the "Search for a better driver..." option is selected and click NEXT. 

9.	At the " Update Device Driver Wizard " box place a check mark in the "Specify a Location" box by clicking on it. 

10.	The path to the Windows 9x driver is where you downloaded it to.  Specify the location by typing it in the box, or use the "Browse" button to navigate to it. 

11.	At the "Update Device Driver Wizard" click NEXT. 

12.	Your system will find the drivers on the CD. Click NEXT. The drivers will load. 

13.	At the "Update Device Driver Wizard" click FINISH. 

14.	If prompted, click YES to restart your computer. 

Congratulations, your video drivers are now installed.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
