There are TWO ways to do this without re-installing Windows NT 4.0. first method: CD \winnt\system32\drivers ren ATI.sys ATI.ati Windows NT 4.0 looks for ATI.SYS drivers at boot time, so if it cannot find it, it cannot use it. second method: While running Windows NT 4.0, execute the Win NT Setup program. Select a NON-ATI driver (try VGA-compatible). ________________________________________________________ 3.0 Known Problems Some applications do not handle 24bpp and 32bpp properly, producing incorrect colors. What to do if "ACCELERATOR not found" message appears: Is there another adapter card in the system that CONFLICTS with I/O locations in the 350-35F hex range? Relocate the I/O to 300 to 31F range. Attempting to run the Mach64 Install program under NT 4.0 will report Mach64 Adapter not detected. The Install program must be run from DOS. Our AGP cards will not work unless the NT 4.0 Service Pack 3, or greater, is installed. Please see Microsoft for the latest operating system update. OpenGL acceleration is only available for 16bpp and 32bpp. ________________________________________________________ 4.0 Reporting Problems If you experience any difficulties, open the file REPORT.TXT and complete the Problem Report form. ______________________________________________Download Driver Pack
