Installation: Windows 2000 will auto-detect all the video ports in the system, prompting for every port. Specify Have Disk and point to these files. Do not shutdown between detection of each port, shutdown after all ports have been configured. Release Notes: Release (6, 6) 8/25/2000 Added support for ProMedia. Added SoftwareCursor enable/disable. Release (13, 13) 4/24/2003 Fixed blank screen problem when streams processor is activated with VGA output. Fixed right screeen pixel corruption problem when streams processor is activated with DVI output. Configuration: To configure your multi-screen system for a specific setup, from the Start Menu click on Settings and click on the Control Panel. Then double-click on SetArray. When the dialog box appears it will give you choices for the number of horizontal and vertical displays, single screen, the full screen display and blank-on-full-screen option. Any changes made with SetArray will become effective the next time NT boots. After SetArray changes have been saved the display array parameters will be updated in the System Registry. If changes were made to the array size a dialog box will prompt you to apply changes now with yes or no buttons. The DisplayArray parameters are described as follows: "H" controls the number of horizontal screens desired. "V" controls the number of vertical screens. Both parameters must be set or the driver will auto-configure for the number of cards in the system. The "FullScreenDisplay" can be used to change the default screen for a DOS full screen prompt. Valid numbers are 0 through the numbers of screens set by auto-configuration or by valid values of (H x V)-1. The "BlankOnFullScreen" parameter can be used to blank all screens during a full screen prompt, so that information shared with others can be hidden, because it is not updated and may be not be correct in a live update situation. Below is an example of using two boards, setting to 3 screens, full screen display is the middle screen, blank the other 2. Registry location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\N50S397\Device0 DisplayArray.H=3 DisplayArray.V=1 DisplayArray.FullScreenDisplay=1 DisplayArray.BlankOnFullScreen=1 If none of the parameters above are set the default is: H=0, V=0, FullScreenDisplay=0 and BlankOnFullScreen=1. Additional User Registry parameters: xOverlap and yOverlap control the amount of overlap from one screen to another this is mostly used to align projection screens. DisplayArray.xOverlap DisplayArray.yOverlap On some VIA chipset systems they change the video BIOS size from 40k to 64k and the driver cannot detect this condition. Set NoBIOSCheck to 1 DisplayArray.NoBIOSCheck To disable the software cursor set SoftwareCursor to 1. DisplayArray.SoftwareCursor To limit the size of the frame buffer in megabytes, set MemorySize to a value between 2 and 32. The example show a setting for 16 meg. DisplayArray.MemorySize=16Download Driver Pack
