Similarly, your adapter should also be properly installed in your server. 1. On the server console, load the driver directly, for example: LOAD A:\NETWARE\EP320R FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 NAME=C1 You can load another frame type if needed, ETHERNET_802.3 or ETHERNET_II or ETHERNET_SNAP . 2. Bind with IPX: BIND IPX TO C1 ;C1 is borad name defined by user 3. You can login the server from a workstation, and then copy EP320R.LAN to the directory SYS:\SYSTEM on server. Add the LOAD and BIND command lines to AUTOEXEC.NCF file so that the lan driver will be loaded automatically while the server is starting up next time. Installation Notes: ------------------- 1.Installing Multiple LAN Adapters: The keyword "SLOT" is provided for multiple LAN adapters in a single server by the driver EP320R.LAN. So, add EtherID in LOAD commands. For example: LOAD EP320R FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 NAME=LAN_A SLOT=1 BIND IPX TO LAN_A NET=11 LOAD EP320R FRAME=Ethernet_802.2 NAME=LAN_B SLOT=2 BIND IPX TO LAN_B NET=22 2. The keyword "MEDIUMTYPE" is provided for specifying adapter's speed ( AUTO, 100FULL, 100HALF, 10FULL, 10HALF ) , add MEDIUMTYPE in LOAD commands. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
