 Phoenix is a company that develop the PCMCIA drivers, like Socket
 Service, Card Service and Card Installation Client drivers. Now, they
 had provided drivers that support the Intel 82365SL PCMCIA and Databook
 TCIC-2/N controller chips...etc.

   How Phoenix PCM Plus v3.x PCMCIA software work with the Ethernet Adapter ?
   Method 1:
   1. Install Phoenix PCM v3.x or PCM 4.x into PC system
   2. Insert Ethernet card into PCMCIA slot
   3. Execute PCM.EXE that supported by Phoenix PCM Plus 3.x or PCM 4.x
   4. Select the right socket by PageUp, PageDown key
   5. Choose Configure item by ALT-C.
   6. Choose Add Card to List item and Enter for first time or choose
      Edit Config Parameters for further edition.
   7. Set the IO range and IRQ for the card
   8. Press enter and then Save the configuration
   9. Exit PCM.EXE by Alt-V and select Exit
  10. Reboot

   Method 2:
   1. Install Phoenix PCM Plus v3.x into PC system
   2. Modify Config.SYS as follow:

         device=c:\...\EMM386.EXE x=c800-c8ff x=c900-ccff
         device=c:\...\PCMSS.EXE
         device=c:\...\PCMCS.EXE
         device=c:\...\PCMSCD.EXE

    3. Reboot

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
