Installing the HP OmniBook NT SCSI driver:
==========================================

The HP OmniBook 2000/5700 NT SCSI driver is located on the OmniBook hard disk
in the C:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\NT\SCSI directory or on the Recovery CD in the
\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\NT\SCSI directory.

The AMD SCSI controller is located on the OmniBook Docking System. This
requires a newer AMSINT.SYS device driver.

To change the SCSI driver:

  1. Using file manager search for amsint.sys or go to it directly
       in c:\<current WinNT dir>\system32\driver directory. Rename
       the current device file with an .old extension.

  2. Copy the HP provided amsint.sys driver to the
       c:\<current WinNT dir>\system32\driver directory.

  3. Restart NT for the changes to be in effect.
