SUPRAMAX UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

This file contains instructions for installing your SupraMax 56i modem under Windows NT 4.0.

    1. 	Download the file from our web page. Disconnect from your ISP.

    2. 	Double-click the file to extract it. Look at the name of the folder where the files will be saved. You can change the folder, but remember or write down where you put them.

    3.	Click Unzip.

	Click OK after the files have been unzipped.
 
    4.	Click Close to exit the archive file.

    5.	Go to the folder where you saved the files, and double-click the file SETUP.EXE to open the Installation Wizard.

    6.	Click Next to advance from the Welcome window of the Installation Wizard.

    7.	Confirm that the checked selection is for your modem (you should only have one choice).

    	Click Next. The files will be extracted to your hard drive.

    8.	Select the country in which you are located.

	Click OK.

    9.	Click Finish when the Wizard displays the name of the modem that was installed.

Congratulations! Your modem is installed.  Note that these files are the same that are included on the CD that originally came with the modem, and will work only with the SupraMax 56i Voice PCI (SUP2750) modem, not other SupraMax PCI modems.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
