Setup Guide for getting Maximum Resolution

Important Notice
Sometimes You can't get the Maximum resolution even if you alreay installed the Maximum Resolution
driver Properly, Then Please refer to the Video card(Graphic adapter) company
Choosing the proper maximum resolution monitor model
1. The Horizontal Frequency is 85Khz
--> Samsung SyncMaster Monitor(1792x1344)
2. The Horizontal Frequency is 96Khz and over
--> Samsung SyncMaster Monitor(2048x1536)
For the Horizontal Frequency of your monitor,Please check your monitor manual

I.Windows 95/98
1) USING INSTALLATION S/W
- Insert Installation Disk into your Computer.
- Run "Setup9x.exe".
- Select proper maximum resolution monitor model.
- On "Warning" Screen, Click "Install" Button.
- On "Insert Disk" Screen, Type full path name for the Installation Disk
to install the ICM Profile. and Click "OK" Button.
- Click "OK" Button for continuing install.
- On "Window needed to be restarted
Do you want to restart window right now?" Screen
Click "OK" Button for completing installation.
* After Rebooting the system,Start-->settings-->Control Panel-->Click "Display"
--> Choose "setting" then choose the Maximum resolution you want.
2) MANUAL MONITOR INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
A) Windows 95
- Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
- Start the "Display" applet program.
- Select the "Settings" page and select the "Change Display Type" button.
* Note : If "Advanced Properties" appears on this "Settings" window,
use the instructions for Windows 98.
- Select the "Change" button in the "Monitor Type" area.
- Select the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".
- Specify the path to the INF file and press the <ENTER> key:
Example 1: Insert the disk in the A: floppy drive,
and enter A:\.
Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied
the INF file, either on your local hard drive or
on a network share.
Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the INF file is,
choose the "Browse..." button to find it.
- The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Choose "Show all devices"
Select proper maximum resolution monitor model and click OK.
- Type full path name for the Installation Disk to install the ICM Profile.
Windows 95 will copy the INF file and the ICM Profile to the proper
directory on your system.
- Continue choosing "Close" button until you close the Display
Properties dialog box.
- You need to reboot you system
* After Rebooting the system,Start-->settings-->Control Panel-->Click "Display"
--> Choose "setting" then choose the Maximum resolution you want.
B) Windows 98
- Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
- Start the "Display" applet program.
- Select the "Settings" page and select the "Advanced Properties" button.
- Select the "Monitor" button.
- Select the "Change" button in the "Monitor Type" area.
- Click the "Have Disk" button.
- Specify the path to the INF file and press the <ENTER> key:
Example 1: Insert the disk in the A: floppy drive,

Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied

Select proper maximum resolution monitor modeland click OK.
- Windows 98 will copy the INF file and the ICM Profile to the proper
directory on your system.
- Continue choosing "Close" button and "O.K" button until you close
the Display Properties dialog box.
(You can get some other screen for warning message or others,then
click the appreciate option for your monitor)
- You need to reboot you system
* After Rebooting the system,Start-->settings-->Control Panel-->Click "Display"
--> Choose "setting" then choose the Maximum resolution you want.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
