DW-8000P driver installation - Windows XP

01. Uninstall the previous driver from PC.
    "Start" -> "Programs" -> "DW-8000P PCI NIC ADSL Driver" folder -> click "Uninstall"
02. Reboot the system.
03. "Found New Hardware Wizard" window will pop up,
    select "Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]"
04. Click "Next".
05. Select "Search for the best driver in these locations."
    and select "Include this location in the search".
06. Click "Browse", then go to temp folder, where you unzipped driver files.
    (i.e. "D:\temp\winxp")
07. Click "Next".
08. "Hardware Installation" window will pop up, click "Continue Anyway".
    The installation will copy files to HDD.
09. Click "Finish".

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
