Thank you for reading this file. This file can help you solve problems you might have encountered when you install your PDC PCI USB 2.0 controller. 1. If you have a "NEC" USB 2.0 Controller, you need to use the file fixInst.exe; (Read Note at the end) 2. If you have a "VIA" USB 2.0 Controller, you need to use the file fixVIA.exe; look at the Chip on your controller, you should be able to determine which chip you have. If you do not have an "NEC" or "VIA" chip on your usb 2.0 controller, these 2 above executable files won't do the trick. These 2 files actually install the driver for the corresponding PCI USB 2.0 controllers. They can fix all the errors you might have made when trying to install the device driver PDC PCI USB 2.0 controller. a. To fix or install the driver for "NEC" USB 2.0 Controller, double-click on the file fixInst.exe; (Read Note at the end) b. To fix or install the driver for "VIA" USB 2.0 Controller, double-click on the file fixVIA.exe; Note: The fixInst.exe needs its pathBack.exe files to function correctly. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
