OmniBook Zoomed Video Support Utility
================================

The ObZoomV utility is used to enable and disable the
Zoomed Video Sound.  You must have a PCMCIA Zoomed Video
card installed in the primary slot.  Consult your OmniBook
User's Guide for the correct location of the Zoomed Video
card slot.

If you add a Zoomed Video PC card in the primary slot, 
its sound capability will not work until you enable
Zoomed Video sound.

If you enable Zoomed Video sound, normal sounds related to
PC card activity are disabled.

If you disable Zoomed Video sound, other PC card sounds
are enabled.

Running the Zoomed Video Utility
==========================

To run the Zoomed Video Utility

 1. From the Start menu, click Run.
     
 2. Type 
        C:\OmniBook\ObZoomV

 3. To  enable the Zoomed Video Sound:
    a. Make sure that a Zoomed Video Card is in the correct Zoomed 
       Video Card slot.
    b. Click the "on" button.
    c. Click the "Apply" or "OK" button.

 4. To disable the Zoomed Video Sound:
    a. Click the "off" button.
    b. Click the "Apply" or "OK" button.
    c. Remove the Zoomed Video Card from the Zoomed Video Card slot.

 6. You may close or Minimize the ObZoomV Utility.


Re-installing OmniBook Zoomed Video Utility
===================================

 *  The OmniBook Zoomed Video Support Utility comes pre-installed 
    with the Windows 95 OmniBook Operating System. 

 1. The OmniBook Zoomed Video Support Utility is located in the
    c:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\Win95\ObZoomV directory or on the 
    Recovery CD in the \OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\Win95\ObZoomV
    directory.

 2. Copy the file HPZV32.VXD from the to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.

 3. Copy the file OBZOOMV.VXD to the C:\OMNIBOOK directory.

 4. The utility is now installed, you may follow the steps on how to
       run the Zoomed Video Utility.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
