Installing Video Drivers
System Installation Requirements
HP OmniBook 800 with Windows NT 3.51 Installed.
HP OmniBook 800 Audio Drivers. These drivers are located on the hard disk in
C:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\NT\VIDEO\NT351. These drivers are also located on the
HP OmniBook 800MMX Recovery CD in the \OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\NT\VIDEO\NT351
directory.
Procedure
1. Boot NT and log in as the administrator.
2. Run Control Panel and open the Display applet.
3. Select "Change Display Type...".
4. Select "Change...".
5. Select "Other...".
6. Place the driver installation disk in drive A: and select "OK".
7. Select the NeoMagic MagicGraph 128/V/ZV driver in the "Models" listbox and
select "Install". Select "Yes" to change system configuration.
8. Make sure the driver installation disk is still in drive A: and select
"Continue".
9. A message box will appear notifying you if the driver was successfully
installed. Select "OK" to close this message box.
10. Another message box is then displayed notifying you that the driver could
not be started dynamically. Select "OK" to close this message box.
11. Finally, you will be given the option to restart Windows NT. Select
"Restart Now" if you wish to reboot immediately or "Don't Restart Now"
if you do not wish to reboot at this time.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
