UPDATING YOUR VIRUSSCAN
-----------------------

    NOTE:   Viruscan should be installed without the McAfee VirusScan
            Console for proper operation of your notebooks power management
            systems.  This will occur automatically if you install from 
            the Start Menu link.  If installing with some other method, 
            please select a Custom installation and de-select the McAfee
            VirusScan Console.

Your HP OmniBook comes equipped with McAfee VirusScan, one of 
the best virus protection available. Currently this version detects over
13500 viruses. Every month, however, over 100 new viruses are found.
To achieve an optimal protection of your OmniBook, you need to update, on a
regular basis, your anti-virus software.

As an HP OmniBook owner, you are entitled to a 90 days free support period from
McAfee and one free update to VirusScan.

To make sure you have the most up-to date protection, McAfee also offers an 
inexpensive Personal Support Program to protect you from these new viruses for
a full year.
