Installing Video Drivers
System Installation Requirements
HP OmniBook 3000 with Windows 95 installed.
HP OmniBook 3000 Video Drivers. These drivers are located on the hard disk in
C:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WIN95\VIDEO. These drivers are also located on the
HP OmniBook 3000 Recovery CD in the \OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WIN95\VIDEO
directory.
Procedure
Copy Files in this directory onto a 3.5 inch floppy, then follow this
procedure:
1. Run Display program in Control Panel.
2. Select 'Settings' Tab.
3. Select 'Advanced Properties' button.
4. Select 'Change...' icon for the Adapter.
5. Select 'Have Disk...' icon.
6. Insert Windows 95 Video Driver Installation Disk into Drive A:.
7. Select 'OK' button from the Install From Disk window.
8. Make sure "NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD" is highlighted in the Select Device
dialog box, then press 'OK'.
9. After drivers are installed, select 'Close' button to close the
Change Display Type window.
10. Display Properties windows should come up allowing user to select
preferred display options.
11. After selecting the preferred display options, choose 'Apply'
and 'Restart Computer'.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
