This is a modified version of a file I uploaded on 19/5/95. The best place for it would probably be /pub/ibmpc/winsock/win95. mdmzol.inf is a modem.inf file for Zoltrix Platinum 28.8 VFC modems running under Windows '95. It is not an official file but one I have created for my own use. To use the file, first copy it to the hidden inf sub-directory of Windows 95. Then run Settings, Control Panel, Modems and add your modem. I have found that this file works reliably with Demon, and if you set "only connect at this rate" and choose 115,200, the modem will log on every time at 28,800 (assuming that one of the 28800 modems is free!). Please examine the file and modify it as you wish. The only thing I would ask is that you e-mail a copy to me if you add any features. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
