The self-extracting archive, 134fwup.exe provides the installation of the latest
firmware for the AnyPoint(TM) Wireless II Network PC Card model. 

**Do not attempt to flash the firmware on the Wireless II Network USB model.

Steps to take install the firmware
----------------------------------

1. Save the file, 134fwup.exe to a temporary directory such as C:\Temp.
2. From explorer, click on the file. The file will self-extract and run.
3. You should see the following install messages in this order

Message 1: 

Adapter Firmware Update
------------------------
Adapter Firmware Version: S1000XXX.HEX (where XXX is a hex number)
Update Firmware Version : s1010304.hex (the latest firmware)

Proceed With Firmware Update? Yes/No (select Yes unless the version is the same)


Message 2: 

Adapter Firmware Update
-----------------------
CAUTION: This update may take up to 3 minutes, do not remove the adapter or power 
off your PC. OK? (select OK, at this point wait for the last message)


Message 3: 

Adapter Firmware Update
-----------------------
Adapter Firmware Version: S1010304.HEX 
Update Complete. OK? (select OK to complete the firmware update)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
