supplements the DigitalPersona Online Client version 3.0.0 Guide.

How to Use This Document
-------------------------
To view the Readme file on-screen in Windows Notepad, maximize
the Notepad window. On the Edit menu, click Word Wrap.
To print the Readme file, open it in Notepad or another word
processor, and then use the Print command on the File menu.

1. INSTALLATION
----------------
You must have administrator rights to install this product on
Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP,Windows 2003 Server.
- Insert the DigitalPersona Online Server Software CD or the DigitalPersona
Online Client Software.
- Run the Setup.exe that is located in the Online Client folder of the CD.
- Follow the installation instructions.
- Connect the U.are.U Sensor after the installation completes.

2. COMPATIBILITY

- U.are.U 4000, U.are.U 2000 and U.are.U Vertical fingerprint sensors.
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or later (Not certified on Netscape)
- DigitalPersona Pro for AD 3.0.0 or later.

3. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum system requirements:
- Pentium-class processor
- 7.5MB disk space
- USB port
- Windows 2003 Server,Windows XP (Professional and Home), 2000 (Professional and Server),NT 4.0 (SP 4.0 or later), ME, 98 (First and Second Edition)
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or later
- 14 Kbits or faster Internet connection

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
