This disk contains the binary final release of PCNet Revision 2.00 software.
The drivers included in the Beta3 release are:

ODI (DOS, OS/2, Server)
NDIS 2.0.1 (DOS, OS/2)
NDIS 3.0 (WFW 3.11, NT 3.1/3.5, Chicago Beta 1)
SCO UNIX
Sun Solaris
Novell UNIXWARE
Packet Driver
Installation Program


VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

The Novell ODI drivers in this release use the Novell support files. You
would need to use the following support files with these drivers.

The 2.00 binary release for PCnet family software includes 5 disks:

Disk 1 of 5 - Contains NDIS2, NDIS3, ODI
Disk 2 of 5 - Contains SCO UNIX Driver
Disk 3 of 5 - Contains UNIXWARE DLPI Driver
Disk 4 of 5 - Contains Sun Solaris Driver
Disk 5 of 5 - Contains LANSRVR, PCNFS, Artisoft Lantastic, Packet Driver,
		       extended version aminstal.exe

NOTE: Please also note that the aminstal.exe located in the root directory
of this disk is the non DOS extended version and hence requires 500k+ free DOS
base memory. The DOS extended version of the aminstal.exe is located in the
AMINSTAL directory of the diskette 5 of 5. If you would like to use the DOS
extended version please replace the aminstal.exe located in this disks root
directory with the DOS extended version.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
