NETGEAR FA310TX Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter
                  -----------------------------------------
Driver Installation for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
               ------------------------------------------------

  Getting Started
  ---------------

The Windows NT CD-ROM or diskettes are needed for the following procedure.

  Installation Procedure
  ----------------------
  1. Insert the FA310TX network adapter into your computer and start your
      Windows NT 4.0 system normally.

  2. Open "My Computer" -> "Control Panel" -> "Networks" icons.

  3. Select "Adapters" -> "Add" -> "Have disk". Enter the drive letter
where the Drivers and Diagnostics disk is inserted.

        eg. > A:\

Select the "NETGEAR FA310TX Fast Ethernet PCI adapter".

  4. Windows NT will copy the driver files from the NGRPCI directory.
It also will pop up with the configuration window. You can assign the
"Connection Type", "Transmit Threshold" and "Network Address" here.

For "Connection Type", choose "AutoSense". The driver will auto-
detect the media that is connecting to the adapter.

Other possible connection type selections are "10Base-T", "10Base-T
      full_duplex", "100Base-TX", and "100Base-TX full_duplex".

Caution: Unless necessary, do not modify the NetworkAddress field.
The driver will use the default unique Ethernet address contained in
the serial ROM on the adapter.

  5. After completing the file copying process, Windows NT will prompt
you to reboot the PC. Select YES to reboot the system.
