EMDIAG Diagnostics
----------------------------------------

The Adaptec Diagnostics Program runs with MS-DOS version
3.3 or later. Before running the Adaptec Diagnostics
Program, boot the system to MS-DOS using the F-5 key to
bypass the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files.

From the Main Menu of EMDIAG, you can make one of the
  following selections:

Configuration Status Reports the resources in use by
                          the Adaptec PCI adapter. This
                          option is useful for determining
                          if your adapter is recognized
                          your system.

   Diagnostics Contains options for Local,
                          Remote and Echo Server. These
                          options provide the ability to
                          run both local and remote
diagnostics, and to set up the
Adaptec adapter for use as an
                          Echo Server. For a full
                          explanation of this option, see

EMDIAG Error Messages

In addition to the information described above, EMDIAG
provides the following text messages to help you setup
and configure your Adaptec PCI adapter.

                       been activated. To resolve this
problem, move the adapter to another
slot, or activate bus mastering in
