Configuration Diskette Procedure:

 1.  Create a BOOTABLE diskette from the file 9507067.ZIP.
     Label it as show below:

        Gateway 7210 Server
	BIOS Disk
	Configuration Disk 1 (of 3)

 2.  Create a BOOTABLE diskette from the file 9506915.ZIP.
     Label it as show below:

        Gateway 7210 Server
	FIRMWARE Disk
	Configuration Disk 2 (of 3)

 3.  Create a BOOTABLE diskette from the file 9507088.ZIP.
     Label it as show below:

        Gateway 7210 Server
	FRUSDR Disk
	Configuration Disk 3 (of 3)

 4.  Boot the target system from Disk 1.

 5.  Turn the target system off when prompted.

 6.  Boot the target system from Disk 2.

 7.  Turn the target system off when prompted.

 8.  Boot the target system from Disk 3.

 9.  Turn the target system off when prompted.

10.  Turn on the machine and go into BIOS setup:

        Load System Defaults                 [F9]
        Set the Date and Time                (if Necessary)
        Set Processor Retest to              [Yes]
        Set Reset Configuration Data to      [Yes]
        Set Clear Event Log to               [Yes]

11.  Save the settings to CMOS.

12.  Turn the target sytem off.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
