Ether SN2000 Ethernet Adapter Installation
for Client 32
Getting Started

Notes: Please check I/O adress and IRQ in your adapter.
Client 32 for Windows 95
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
The Windows 95 installation disks or CD are need to complete this
install.
The NOVELL Client 32 installation disks or CD are needed to complete
this install.
First installation from released Diskette
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Start both Windows 95 and Client 32 for Windows 95 system.
Click on "My Computer" -> "Control Panel" -> "Network" -> "Remove"
button to delete the old driver.
From the "Network" window, click on "Add".
The program prompts for the component type.
Double-click on "Adapter".
Select "Have Disk".
Specify the full path of the driver, ie. A:\<PATH>.
The program displays a network adapter list.
Select "Ether SN2000 Ethernet Adapter" in Network Adapters
windows.
Specify "Interrupt(IRQ)" and "I/O address range".
The system will require some of the Windows 95 disks and Client 32
for Windows 95 to install network support.
After copying the necessary files, select "Yes" to restart your
system.
The other time installation
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Start both Windows 95 and Client 32 for Windows 95 system.
Click on "My Computer" -> "Control Panel" -> "Network" -> "Remove"
button to delete the old driver.
From the "Network" window, click on "Add".
The program prompts for the component type.
Double-click on "Adapter".
Select "Ether" in Manufactures windows.
Select "Ether SN2000 Ethernet Adapter" in Network Adapters
windows.
Specify "Interrupt(IRQ)" and "I/O address range".
Specify C:\NOVELL\CLIENT32 path to copy Client 32 for Windows 95
driver. (If Client 32 for Windows system have been installed
at C driver)
Reboot Windows 95 system and connect to Netware server.
Client 32 for DOSWIN

Windows 3.x
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
Start Windows 3.x system
Run the Client 32 for DOSWIN installation program, using
SETUP.EXE
Ex: >CD \<PATH> ; <PATH> is Client 32 for DOSWIN
>SETUP.EXE
or
Double click SETUP.EXE in Files Manager windows
Press ENTER to accept the argeement.
Specify your target directory.
Ex. C:\NOVELL\CLIENT32 ; If choice C driver.
Select "Ether SN2000 Ethernet LAN Driver".
Restart your workstation, click "Netware Login" to login Netware
server from NetWare Tools.
DOS
ÄÄÄ
Run the Client 32 for DOSWIN installation program, using
INSTALL.EXE.
Ex: >CD \<PATH> ; <PATH> is Client 32 for DOSWIN
>INSTALL.EXE
Press ENTER or YES to accept the argeement.
Select "Netware Client 32 for DOS".
Use default value in Customize Support for Windows,
if you Select "Netware Client 32 for Windows" too.
Press "F10" to continue.
Select "32-bit LAN drivers" from LAN Driver Type window.
Select "USER SPECIFIED 32 BIT DRIVER".
Specify the full path of the driver, ie. A:\<PATH>.
Ex. A:\NETWARE\CLIENT32\DOSWIN
Select "Ether SN2000 Ethernet LAN Driver" from 32-Bit
Network Board Drivers window.
Specify "Frame Type","Noed Address","Port" setting, then press
"F10" to save.
Ex. Default value as below
Frame Type is Ethernet_802.2
Port is 300
Press "F10" to continue in Installation Configuration Summary
window, if you accept.
AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS will be update after installation.
Restart your workstation and load the NetWare networking
software, it will connect to Netware server.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
