Disc Detective End User software utilities are now bundled with CD-ROM drives, 
multimedia upgrade kits, and CD-Recorders.  Disc Detective, a versatile 
collection of software tools, will allow verification of the quality and 
integrity of data on all of your compact disc projects.  It gives you access 
to every sector of your CD.  Disc Detective Professional will allow a 
complete sector by sector comparison between the disc and source tape, image 
file on a hard disk drive, or source CD.

When connected to an Exabyte or DAT tape drive, Disc Detective Professional 
will transfer all or a part of a compact disc to a tape, thus allowing to be 
ready for mastering at virtually any CD replication facility in the world.

Disc Detective provides critical analysis tools for multi-session CD-ROMs, 
and confirms correct post gap at the end of the data track.  If you ever had 
an unsolvable problem with reading a CD-ROM disc, Disc Detective is your 
answer!

Copy CDD.EXE, CDD.HLP and CDD.MSG to the same subdirectory by typing: 
     
     XCOPY CDD.*

then type CDD to run Disc Detective.  It's that easy.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
