The setup program provided with the "Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Printing Software"
is to install the various printing software components for you, including the following:

Windows2000 - Installation from Setup.exe(Recommend)

1. Start up Windows2000.
2. Close another applications.
3. Double-click the icon of "Setup.exe".
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
5. We recommend you restart Windows after Driver is installed.

Windows2000 - Installation from Plug and Play
======================================================================
1. After connecting the printer to your computer, turn both units on.
2. Start up Windows2000.
3. "Add New Hardware Wizard" dialog will appear.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on your computer screen.
5. In the instructions, click the Other Location button,
select the "Disk1" of Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Printer Driver.

Windows2000 - Installation from Add Printer Wizard
======================================================================
1. Turn on your computer and start up Windows2000.
2. Close another application.
4. Click the start button, point to setting, and then click Printers.
5. Double-click the "Add Printer" Icon.
6. Follow the instructions that appear on your computer screen
7. In the instructions, Click the "Have Disk" Button,
select the "Oemsetup.inf" in the "Disk1" of Minolta PageWorks/Pro
1100L Printer Driver.
8. Follow the instructions.

Installed Components

1. Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Driver.
After installing, you will see it in Printer folder.
This Driver has some new features such as N-up Printing,
,Scaling or Booklet at Printer.
For more details, see Help.
2. Status Display
After installing, you will see Status Display in Minolta
PageWorks/Pro 1100L Folder.
This tool to check Printer Status from your PC.
This Printer tool is for Local.
3. Printer Console
After installing, you will see Printer Console in Minolta
PageWorks/Pro 1100L Folder.
This tool to spool the job for Duplex or Booklet and set specified setting.
4. Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Help
After installing, you will see Help icon in Minolta
PageWorks/Pro 1100L Folder.
This help includes various explanations or hints Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L
Printer.
5. Uninstaller
After installing, you will see Uninstaller icon in Minolta
PageWorks/Pro 1100L Folder.
If you want to remove Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Driver and Software,
run this Uninstaller after closing all Software.

Feature

The Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Printing Software is specifically designed to
work with your Windows operating system. The printing system offers the
following new features:
- N-up Printing
This feature is to print multiple Pages on One Sheet of Paper,
will save paper using the N-up
- Manual Duplex
Print on duplex side manually.
- Manual Booklet
Print as Book style.
- Watermarks
Print watermarks in the background of the first page or
every page of your document.
- Overlay
Print overlay image in the background of the first page or
every page of your document.
- Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Status Display
You can see the Printer status with Status Display on your PC via LPT port.
- Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Printer Console
You can set various Printer settings from your PC via LPT port
- Uninstaller
Remove Minolta PageWorks/Pro 1100L Printer Driver or Printer tool from your PC.

"Add New Hardware Wizard" appears on Windows2000, even though Printer Driver is installed

If you encounter this problem, try following way.
1. Click "Cancel" button, and then finish this wizard.

Uninstall
======================================================================
When you want to run Uninstaller, you must close Status Display and Printer Console.
======================================================================
The combination with Landscape and Booklet.
======================================================================
When you use combination with Landscape and Booklet,
each result of Booklet Left and Booklet Right is the same.
======================================================================
Copies setting is ignored when you print via the network.
======================================================================
If you print via the network, please don't use copies setting.
======================================================================
The notice when you print from the printer that connected with W95/98 Server.
======================================================================
The setting of copies will be unavailable. Please print with single copy.
======================================================================
The bar of Status Display activates when an error occurs, though we've
checked "Minimize Status Display" Check Box.

If some errors occur, Status Display always launches and activates.
======================================================================
The combination between Landscape and Booklet Right.
======================================================================
The image of combination between Landscape and Booklet Right may be reduced.
Please use Booklet Left style if the direction of print job is Landscape.

Certain patterns from Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional may print too light.
======================================================================
Try adjusting the pattern color in your application.
======================================================================
Certain line widths from Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional may print too thick.

Try adjusting the line selection in your application.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
