The contents of the release:

Driver Files - v1.07 -- 08-01-03 
             - compiled with EFI SDK 1.10.14.61 and INTEL EBC compiler release 1.1.36.

	ql2312ef.bin - Rom image of the driver for qla234x HBA.
	ql23efi.bin  - Rom image of the driver for qla2300, qla2310 HBA.


Utilities:
	Efiutil.efi - EFI utility, v0.8 , Native IA64
	qlaux.drv   - support program used by efiutil.efi.


Doc files:
	eficonfig.txt - A text document that describes how to start and use 
                        the EFI configuration protocol to display and modify HBA NVRAM parameters.

	efiutil.txt - A text document that describes how to use efi utility program.


NVRAM Files:
	nvram23.dat - NVRAM file for QLA2342-IBM


1.0	Requirements:
 This version of the driver is an EFI Byte Code image.  You must have an EFI Shell with 
a revision level of at least 1.10.14.57.  Anything earlier than .57 will not work, and may 
crash your machine. 


1.1	Loading the Driver into flash:

 Please refer to the efiutil.txt document for information on loading the driver into
flash memory.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
