4. Double-click a PCI Ethernet Controller.
5. Click the Driver tab, then click Change Driver.
6. Select Network Adapters and click OK.
7. Click Have Disk. Insert the PRO/100+ Server adapter disk
   and click OK.
8. Follow any prompts for Windows 98 installation disks and restart
   when prompted.

IMPORTANT: You must reboot after installing each adapter port.

To install PROSet software (recommended), continue to the section
"Install PROSet Software" in the Install Guide.

Hints and Tips
==============

If your system contains a multiport adapter and you install
Windows 98, Windows 98 may detect the ports of the adapter as
82557-based adapters. If you try to upgrade the drivers for these
adapters through the Update Drivers function of the Device Manager,
the adapter may no longer function after rebooting.

To resolve this problem:

1. Double-click on the System icon in the Control Panel.
2. Click the Device Manager tab.
3. Highlight each port of the multiport adapter and click Remove.
4. Shut down Windows 98, turn off the computer and unplug its power
   cord.
5. Remove the multiport adapter card.
6. Plug in the power cord and start Windows 98
7. Shut down Windows 98, turn off the computer and unplug its power
   cord.
8. Reinstall the multiport adapter card, plug in the power cord and
   start Windows 98.
The Windows 98 OS should detect the hardware, prompting you for
   the drivers disk.

IMPORTANT: You must reboot after installing each adapter port.
