Readme for QLogic ISPxxxx Flash and NOVRAM programming utility. The QLogic flash and novram programming utility is a DOS utility with the following command line options: /F xxxx = Write Flash, adapter address = xxxx If no address specified then write Flash to all adapters /U xxxx = Update Bios NOVRAM defaults, adapter address = xxxx If no address specified then Updates all adapters /W xxxx = Copy Flash to file: QL1xROM.SAV, adapter address = xxxx /O <filename.ext> = Use <filename.ext> instead of QLxxROM.BIN /I = Ignore Subsystem ID /M = Don't prompt for I/O address /Q = Quiet Mode, no messages will be displayed /S xxxx = Display serial number of adapter at address xxxx If no address specified then display serial number of all adapters /V xxxx = Display current version number of BIOS on adapters at address xxxx If no address specified then display BIOS version of all adapters /C xxxx = Verify Flash of adapter at address xxxx If no address specified then verify Flash of all adapters /X xxxx = Verify NOVRAM of adapter at address xxxx If no address specified then verify NOVRAM of all adapters /Y xxxx = Display Port Name of adapter at address xxxx If no address specified then display Port Name of all adapters /P = Prompt for serial number (PRODUCTION TEST USE ONLY) /T = QLA2202 adapter (PRODUCTION TEST USE ONLY) The following are for Qlogic use only: /D xxxx = Copy NOVRAM to file: QL1xNVRM.SAV, adapter address = xxxx /L xxxx = Write NOVRAM, adapter address = xxxx If no address specified then write NOVRAM to all adapters /N <filename.ext> = Use <filename.ext> instead of NVRMxx0.DAT The utility can be run without command line options and it will prompt you for the required options. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
