1 Overview
===========
The Virtual Cable Tester(TM) installation package
contains the Marvell 32-bit Virtual Cable Tester(TM)
application.
This README file explains how to install the Virtual
Cable Tester(TM) Package on a machine running Windows
2000 or Windows XP.
NOTE:
The Virtual Cable Tester(TM) can only be used with
Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
2 Required Files
=================
To install the Virtual Cable Tester(TM), the following
file is required:
SetupVCTwin.exe
3 Installation Instructions
============================
NOTE:
To install the Virtual Cable Tester(TM) make sure
that you are logged in as a user with administrative
rights.
To install the Virtual Cable Tester(TM), proceed as
follows:
1. Execute the setup file SetupVCTwin.exe .
2. Follow the instructions of the installation procedure.

4 Troubleshooting
==================
If you should encounter any problems with your Virtual
Cable Tester(TM) Package, please re-read the instructions
above and the documentation supplied with the operating
system carefully.
Additionally refer to your system event log file (using the Event Viewer)
and check it for entries from Virtual Cable Tester(TM).
If your particular problem is not listed or the error persists, please
send your system event log file or at least the event id number and the
logging data (as WORDs) of the entries made by Virtual Cable Tester(TM) to our
technical support.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
