Revision Information:
Change to the inf file to allow for multiple LT PCI
modem configurations.
***NOTE: Before starting, copy the file to a formatted
diskette and expand the file, if necessary. Label the
diskette with the file name and version number for
future reference.***
1.Insert the driver diskette into the floppy drive.
2.Select Start | Run and click Browse. Locate
the file Setup.exe on the A:\ drive.
Highlight it and click Open. The file populates
in the Run field. Click OK to continue.
3.The setup wizard installs the driver.
4.When setup is complete, the system prompts to be
restarted. The default is "Yes, I want to restart
my computer now". Remove the diskette and click
Finish to reboot the system.
5.When the system restarts, go to Start |
Settings | Control Panel and double-click the
Modems icon.
6.The Modems Properties window opens. Click
the Add button to continue.
7.Place a check in the box before Don't detect
my modem; I'll select it from a list and click
Next.
8.A list of available manufacturers and models
appear. Click the Have Disk button to
continue.
9.On the Install From Disk window, verify the
field has A:\ as the drive. Insert the driver
diskette into the floppy drive. Click OK to
continue.
10.LT PCI Modem displays in the Model field.
Verify it is highlighted and click Next.
11.The wizard prompts to install the modem on
the displayed ports. For a PCI modem, the
standard port is COM 2. Select the appropriate
port and click Next.
12.The modem installation is complete. Click
Finish to exit the wizard.
13.The system prompts to be restarted. The
default is Yes, I want to restart my computer
now. Click OK to reboot the system.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
