IV. Known Issues
*HSF Region Select control panel (Windows 2000)
-The control panel remains in the control panels folder after the HSF modem is removed. If attempt to use this utility after the modem has been removed is made, the user is presented with an error message asking for the installation of an HSF modem before use. Otherwise this control panel is passive and in general does not cause problems.

  *Windows finds other driver
-Depending on the version of your operating system, Windows may find a driver other than those downloaded the Conexant website. It is likely that driver is named oem1.inf. These drivers are essentially the same. However, the genhsf*.inf driver is strictly for data/fax modem use and does not support the same features as oem1.inf. If you prefer to use genhsf*.inf, make sure that the oem1.inf (modem is not currently installed) and remove the oem1.inf files from the windows/inf directory, then follow the installation steps listed above.
