How to use Flash Utility for TOMATO BOARD

Before upgrading the BIOS, please consult the Mainboard User's Manual
for necessary Jumper Settings 

Warning: Don't power-off PC or reboot PC until BIOS upgrade processing
is success. If BIOS upgrade processing was failure, you must to resume
the original BIOS image file. Otherwise, BIOS will corrupt and PC cannot
boot again.

Please follow the steps as below:

1. Save bios image file and flash utility into a bootable floppy disk.

2. Start your computer with the floppy disk.
   If your use 845 serial mainboard, please disabled the "system BIOS
  protect" in Advanced chipset features setup of BIOS. 

3. Run utility as follow:

   e.g. a) If your BIOS is AWARD BIOS: A:\AWDfl701 xxxxxxxx.BIN
        b) If your BIOS is AMI BIOS: A:\AMIFL814 xxxxxxxx.ROM

4. Backup the original BIOS image file by BIOS Flash Utility. 

5. Follows the Screen instructions to upgrade your BIOS properly.

6. If BIOS upgrade processing was failure, you must to resume the original
BIOS image file. Otherwise, BIOS will corrupt and PC cannot boot again.

7. When all of the procedures completed, restart your computer by screen prompt.

Warning: 
Avoid power-off incidently in upgrading procedure, or system would fail 
to reboot!

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
